UPDATE! Whiskey Jack and Holly have finished their treatment for mites, and you can see a wonderful difference! The first two photos are of each of them after their treatment, and the last photo is of the two of them when they first came in with mites. They have made a full recovery! Whiskey Jack and Holly came in together as owner relinquishments when their owner no longer had the time to give them the care they needed. Whiskey Jack is a male English parakeet, which are slightly larger and have more fluffy head feathers then American parakeets. Holly is a female American parakeet. They are quite fond of each other, and they would really like to go to their new home together since they are a bonded pair. Whiskey Jack came in with a bad case of scaly face mites as can be seen in his picture, which he is currently being treated for and is healing wonderfully!
