Macaw - Eric - Large - Adult - Bird
This is Eric! He is a 8 year old Military Macaw. He was relinquished to us an we are calling him a HE even though he has not been sexed. Eric seems to like women better than men but he is warming up. Eric has come a long way since he has been in our care. He came to us as a very fearful bird that would try to bite anyone that came near his cage. We have been slowly working with him to improve his confidence and he is doing very well. Eric went to a wonderful family that continued to work with him, but they had to return him to us because his morning mating call was too loud for the neighbors! Eric needs an owner that will be patient with him and that has owned Military Macaw's before. He is very typical of his breed. He is a beautiful bird and needs the right home.
